Repurposing for Your Business
Thrift stores can be of use to many different businesses. At a place like Gone for Good, our customers aren’t just looking for couches and chairs, they’re looking for items that can benefit their companies at a low cost and they’re actually finding them.
Stephanie has been shopping at the Gone for Good thrift store for about two or three years now. She is a photography stylist and set designer at a studio down the street. Stephanie comes into the thrift store every week to catch up with our store manager Miriam and to look for new props that could be useful at the studio. Some of the best props she finds for shoots are old books, small nik-nacks, vases, frames, and artificial flowers.
Stephanie does it because she’s a huge advocate of the repurposing cause. She wants a place where she can find things to use at the studio and also have a place to bring things back and send them onto their next journey.
